ServicesSeasonal Cleanup
Seasonal Cleanup in Leesburg, FL
We clear what each season leaves behind: leaf drop, frost-burned growth, spent plantings and storm debris. Beds get weeded and edged, shrubs are cut back at the right time, and every walk and driveway is blown clear before our crew leaves your home.

A reset for the yard, done carefully
Seasonal cleanup brings a landscape back into shape between seasons. In Central Florida that rarely means one big fall raking. Live oaks drop most of their leaves in late winter and spring, a cold night can leave hibiscus and ixora brown at the tips, and summer rain pushes weeds and runners into every bed. One visit handles all of it.
It is the right call when the yard has gotten ahead of routine mowing, before you list the house or host family, or when you want beds ready for fresh mulch. Regular lawn care keeps things there afterward. If the property has gone untended for years, our property cleanup service is the better fit.
We have been doing this work since 2018, and the habits have stayed the same: tarps down before cutting, debris hauled off the same day, and hard surfaces swept so the only sign we were there is the result.
What the work includes
- Leaf and needle removal
- We clear leaves, pine needles and oak tassels from beds, under shrubs and across the lawn. Around delicate plants we work by hand, so the mulch stays where it belongs.
- Cutting back and deadheading
- Frost-damaged growth, spent perennials and leggy ornamental grasses are cut back to healthy wood. We time this after the last likely cold night so tender new growth is not exposed.
- Bed weeding and edging
- Weeds come out by the root rather than snapped off at the surface. We cut a crisp edge between turf and bed so the lines read clearly again. If the beds need fresh material, we can price mulch and beds work on the same walkthrough.
- Light shrub shaping
- Hedges and foundation shrubs are shaped back from windows, walkways and siding. Large limbs or anything that needs climbing is handled through our tree trimming and removal service instead.
- Storm and debris pickup
- Fallen branches, dropped palm fronds and loose debris are gathered and removed after a storm or a long windy stretch.
- Haul-off and final sweep
- Every clipping and bag leaves with us. We blow off the driveway, walks, patio and pool deck, and pick stray leaves out of corners where they collect.
Signs your yard is ready for a seasonal visit
Leaves are smothering the beds
A thick mat of oak leaves holds moisture against stems and gives fungus a place to start. It also hides the bed edge, so turf quietly creeps in.
Brown, crispy tips after a cold snap
Frost-burned growth on tropical shrubs stays unsightly until it is cut back. Pruned at the right moment, most plants push out fresh new growth.
Weeds are outpacing the plants
Once weeds set seed, every week adds to next season's crop. Pulling them now, roots and all, cuts the work down later.
Shrubs are touching the house
Branches rubbing siding or screens trap moisture and give insects an easy bridge to your home. Trimming back a few inches of clearance solves it.
Storm season is coming
Loose limbs and piled debris become things the wind can throw. Clearing them before summer storms takes that risk off the table.
How the day runs
- 1
Walkthrough and written estimate
We walk the property with you, agree on what gets cut back and what stays, and note any plants you want left alone. You receive a free written estimate with each task listed.
- 2
Protect before we cut
Tarps go down on walkways and along the house before any trimming starts. We flag sprinkler heads and low landscape lights so equipment stays clear of them.
- 3
Work bed by bed
The crew finishes one area completely, weeding, cutting back, edging and gathering, before moving to the next. Debris stays contained, and nothing is left half done if weather ends the day early.
- 4
Haul off and sweep
Debris goes straight to the truck. Hard surfaces are blown clear, and clippings in gravel or rock beds are picked out by hand where a blower would scatter stone.
- 5
Final walk with you
We look over the finished yard together, or share photos if you are away, and fix anything you point out before we pack up.

What shapes the price
Every job is priced after we see the property, since two yards of the same size can take very different amounts of work. The free estimate lists each task so you can see where the time goes and choose what to include.
- Volume of debris
- A light spring tidy goes faster than a yard buried under a full season of oak leaves. The amount of material we haul away also affects disposal cost.
- Bed area and plant count
- Many small beds with dense plantings take more hand work than a few open ones.
- Access to the work
- Gated backyards, narrow side yards and slopes slow down loading and hauling.
- Time since the last visit
- A yard tended each season stays lighter work. If vines have climbed or weeds have rooted deep, we may recommend a larger reset as the first step.
- Add-ons you choose
- Fresh mulch, replacement shrubs or irrigation adjustments can be added to the same visit, and each one is priced as its own line.
Questions we hear about seasonal yard work
Something not covered here? (407) 594-7966
When is the best time to schedule this in Leesburg?
Most homeowners here book one visit in late winter or early spring, after the oaks drop and once frost risk has passed, and another before summer storm season. Yards with heavy pine needle drop often benefit from a fall visit too. We can suggest a schedule during the walkthrough.
Will your crew damage my plants or sprinklers?
We mark sprinkler heads and low-voltage lights before work starts and use hand tools near delicate plants. If a head is ever nicked, we tell you before we leave rather than letting you find it later. We are business licensed and fully insured.
Do you take all the debris away?
Yes. Everything we cut, rake or gather leaves with us the same day. We do not leave bags at the curb unless you ask us to.
Should I cut back frost-damaged plants right away?
It is better to wait. The brown growth shields the living wood beneath it from the next cold night. Once the forecast is clear of frost, usually by early spring, we cut back to healthy tissue.
Do I need to be home while you work?
No. We need gate access and a heads-up about pets. If you are away, we share photos of the finished yard so you can see the result.
